LINOCUTS PRINTS

Linocut printing is a technique where the artist carves the artwork into a sheet of linoleum, applies ink to the raised surface and presses it onto paper to make a series of prints.

Artist Statement:

Beneath the ground lies
A soul forever in mourning
I tragically try to find
But in vain beholding

Under the skies there is
Frantic calling wailing
I lie awake at night
To block the sound hailing

Inside a house she waits
No-one to be calling
I lie awake at night
Wondering who be falling

From within the womb there is
A child unborn wherein
I cant fathom how there be
A place for this human

From further away I stand
Wondering, waiting, watching
Oh Fallen Angels rise
And help my soul a healing
