Esther Scroll

The Esther scroll is painted with gouache on parchment for a private art dealer in New York 2009. The book of Esther is one of the books of the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), is read during the Jewish celebration of the festival Purim. Siona painted this Megillah using Indian/Persian miniatures as her influence and also her own personal style of painting to make a unique and personal Megillah Esther.

Limited edition prints of the scroll are available for sale, printed with archival inks. The edition is signed and numbered by the artist.
