The Twelve Tribes Torah Cover

Private Commission

The High Priest wore a special breastplate of gems representing the 12 tribes of Israel.  A mosaic of themes symbolize each tribe—Judah, the lion of strength and Naftali, as swift as a gazelle to fulfill the joy of the Jewish people. Notice the gem like tones and colors as well!
